I wanted to formally thank you all for the ongoing support and assistance that you have given me since starting Just-Local, a little over two years ago now. I am very grateful that you have all gone out of your way to assist me and this has had a huge impact on the growth of by business. Dear Tony,
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the opportunity the Small Business Centre has provided me for my new business.
From the time I made my initial contact on the phone with your receptionist and made a booking to meet one of your dedicated staff to discuss my business, I was put at ease and felt a heavy burden being lifted, knowing that I finally found someone that can relate to my situation.
I have mulled over my new business, which is a National Distributorship for specialised medical devices, trying to work out how to place all the products in the market in a professional manner and on a national basis. With help from the Small Business Centre, I was provided with a contact that has become my mentor. Within 24 hours of meeting Ian Smith he had put our name out to a potential business that would pick up a sub distributorship which is currently coming to fruition with an agreement about to be signed.
To have this type of hands on help available is priceless, we can go online and submit questions to business forums, but the results are not even close to being able to actually talk to someone that has many years experience in business that also has an understanding of where we are coming from and to where we want be in the future.
My sincerest gratitude to your organisation, it took me almost 2 years to physically ask for help, when I did ask, I got the answers an now there is no stopping our business development. By the way, I was referred to you by another person that is utilising your expertise, which proves word of mouth is the best form of networking.

To the Small Business Centre,
I have been very lucky to have the amazing support of the SBC East Metro group for many years. My clinic “Muscle Focus, Muscular Pain Management Clinic” has been a local business for some 15 years. Lee has been an incredible positive influence over the years with her relentless happy smile and superb working knowledge of all of things to do with small business. I was thrilled to see the SBC expand with the addition of Stefania.
Especially good is their focus on providing practical and relevant workshops at a small and oftern subsidised fee. They always have their finger on the pulse of what is current in small business and which issues are most important. They are always prompt in their responses to enquiries and always very happy to help. I couldn’t run my business without them!!
